Young Jonn was born on February 16, 1995, in Ibadan, Oyo State, and grew up in a Christian family in Lagos. His musical journey was influenced by his father, who was a pastor. He began playing musical instruments at a young age, mastering the basics of production. He attended the University of Ibadan, where he studied Communication and Language Arts.
Music Career: From Producer to Artist
Young Jonn's production career began in 2009, but he rose to prominence after signing with the YBNL Nation record label, led by Olamide. As the label's go-to producer, he crafted a string of massive hits that defined an era of Nigerian music. His production discography includes:
